V zadnjem času sem za  skupinsko razstavo društva Velika Narava na temo cvetlična tihožitja naslikala nekaj slik. Najprej sem se popolnoma sproščeno ločila akvarela, nato pa sem motiv preizkusila tudi v olju. Želela sem se res posvetiti detajlom slike in jo pripeljati čim dlje. In the past few weeks I have painted a few paintings around the theme of flowers. There is a group show coming up and the theme is still life with flowers.  First I painted a completely relaxed water-colour and then I decided to make it into an oil painting. I wanted to really take time for the details and bring it as far as I like.

Vmes sem začela slikati še eno oljno tihožitje, ki pa še ni končano. Ker sem uporabila platno, na katero sem že pred leti slikala, je ostala zanimiva reliefna tekstura. At the same time I started painting another still life in oils, but it is not finished yet. Because I reused a canvas that I already painted on, there is some texture left from before, which makes it slightly different.  Kot ponavadi sem dela poslikala s telefonom in so fotografije temu primerno kvalitetne. Ko poslikam zares, bom zamenjala slike.

As usually I took photos of my paintings with a phone, so the quality is not ideal. When I take the time to make proper photographs, I will update the post.
