As the main project for my artist residency in Paris I decided to make one daily collage/sketch/watercolor painting and one polaroid photo.

Today I visited the bird market on Île de la cité. It was amazing and it was relaxing to focus on something else, not just artworks in museums and galleries. My camera didn’t want to work immediately and when I opened the battery hatch it fell under the bird cages, and of course guano. Anyway I cleaned it up and then the camera worked.

 

Mala galerija Kranj

Do 27. 8. bo v Mali Galeriji v Kranju razstava novih članic LD Kranj, pri kateri sodelujem z nekaj slikami. Spodaj je par fotografij s torkove otvoritve. Kakšne pa še pridejo kasneje.

Slikarska kolonija / Art colony

V začetku avgusta sem se udeležila slikarske kolonije na Lancovem, organiziralo jo je KUD Velika Narava. Bilo je prav prijetno slikati v družbi, na prostem.. Ni bilo vse rožnato, vendar sem v resnici zadovoljna z dogajanjem.

At the beginning of August I attended an art colony here in Lancovo near Radovljica. It was organised by KUD Velika Narava. I enjoyed painting outside and in company. It was not perfect, but when I look back, I thing it was pretty good.

Naslikala sem še enega od portretov brez obraza, torej od zadaj. Tokrat sem naslikala kolegico slikarko Evo Lučko Kozak. Poleg realistične podobe, sem naslikala še bolj ilustrativno verzijo, pri kateri sem se poigrala s skritim motivom, ga najdete?

Poleg tega pa še nekaj bolj sporščenih akvarelov.

I painted another of my faceless portraits, from the back. This time I painted my fellow artist Eva Lučka Kozak. I painted a realistic version and then also a fun more illustrative  type as well. In this I hid a motive, can you find it?

And of course I painted some relaxed watercolors as well.
